Territory Independent Sales Reps, Long Term Contracts.


 We are growing our sales team. This is a phone based sales position. Each independent sales representative will be assigned a specific territory to conduct phone calls. The right candidate needs to call, follow up, and ensure sales results, follow up again, etc.. Multiple follow ups are needed to be successful. In person visits to clients are not required but encouraged when it makes sense to do so.

 We have detailed customer lists to work from. RAE Industries products are designed, manufactured and sold exclusively in the USA. We go to great extents to be 100% USA MADE. This is B2B sales.

 The right candidates must meet the following interpersonal characteristics:

  • Relationship based sales experience.
  • Natural at sales. A people person, kind, but persistent.
  • No is not an option, be adaptive yet tactfully lead the direction of the calls.
  • Have grit, persistence and have a personal irritation toward excuses and know how to clear these obstacles, both personal and professionally. We do not use scripts, only a framework for making calls. Be adaptive. Be a real person, authentic, genuine and flexible towards the customers needs.
  • Available for long term commitment. You need to get to know our customers, take good care of them.
  • Keep political conversations to a minimum.

 The right candidates must meet the following technical requirements:

  • A background knowledge of handling firearms, gun safety, and understanding different firearm accessories. Clients expect to “talk shop” with you.
  • Formal sales training experience preferred. Technical / application sales. The stronger the better. B2B sales experience.
  • Good Internet connection, good computer skills, excel, email, maintain detailed call logs in the CRM software.

Training for this position is deliberately minimal since fundamentally in relationship sales people like to buy from people who they like and relate with. We emphasize the relationship part of sales.We offer a rewarding compensation structure. Basic hourly rate plus commission. This will be ideal ONLY IF you are results driven.
